The Berber necklace is the symbol of the letter yaz in Tifinagh (the Amazigh alphabet).
In Amazigh culture the "YAZ" represents the free man (mazigh = the free man) and it also represents Amazigh culture in Tamazgha (North Africa).
This is not a mass production, but a piece-by-piece confection with the prototype being one hundred percent handmade.
